Advanced Dice Roller

NdS - Roll N dice with S sides

• 1d20 - Roll one 20-sided die

• 3d6 - Roll three 6-sided dice

• 2d10 - Roll two 10-sided dice

Use + or - to add/subtract numbers

• 1d20+5 - Roll d20 and add 5

• 2d6-2 - Roll 2d6 and subtract 2

• 3d8+1d4+3 - Multiple dice plus modifier

Keep Highest (kh) - Keep only the highest N dice

• 4d6kh3 - Roll 4d6, keep highest 3 (classic D&D stats)

• 2d20kh1 - Roll with advantage (same as "adv")

Keep Lowest (kl) - Keep only the lowest N dice

• 2d20kl1 - Roll with disadvantage (same as "dis")

• 3d6kl2 - Roll 3d6, keep lowest 2

Drop Highest (dh) - Remove the highest N dice

• 4d6dh1 - Roll 4d6, drop highest 1

Drop Lowest (dl) - Remove the lowest N dice

• 4d6dl1 - Roll 4d6, drop lowest 1 (another way to roll stats)

Type these in the formula input for D&D 5e advantage/disadvantage:

• adv - Roll with advantage (converts to 2d20kh1)

• dis - Roll with disadvantage (converts to 2d20kl1)

Example: adv+3 for advantage with +3 modifier

• 2d20kh1+5 - Advantage roll with +5 modifier

• 8d6kh5+3 - Roll 8d6, keep top 5, add 3

• 1d20+2d6+1d4+2 - Attack with multiple damage dice

• 4d6dl1+4d6dl1+4d6dl1 - Roll 3 ability scores at once
